How Local Leaders Can Create Socially Connected Communities

This week AngelMD will be hosting the Impact Action Summit. One of the 5 themes around which this event is formed is mental health. Not coincidentally, one of the other 5 is access. AngelMD was formed on the principal that we are all better together. We are social beings.


The Robert Wood Johnson put out a blog post discussing the merits of connectedness as a key element combating mental health challenges. While the pandemic accentuated the loss of connectivity many in society feel, there are specific communities that are affected more than others. As a society, the more we can foster social connection, the better off we are.
