General Info

AngelMD is THE healthcare innovation community centered around physicians, dentists and startups. The company was originally founded in Seattle and relocated to Denver in 2018. The platform facilitates education, entertainment, camaraderie, capital raising and more.

The Intern University Program was designed to enable undergraduate, graduate and medical students to take advantage of the rare lens and opportunities tied to working with thousands of startups and clinicians. Depending on interest and experience level, interns are given an initial assignment and mentor. Mentors include seasoned former executives from Amazon, Lehman Brothers, Microsoft, Cleveland Clinic, Kaiser Permanente and other leading organizations.

The assignments rotate so students get a cross-section of experiences and are able to broaden their resume.

Internships can be in any or all of the following areas: marketing, operations, events, finance/investments and data/analytics.

Internships range from 6 months to 1 year and all start as unpaid internships. Program alumnus are given priority for open part-time and full-time positions as they come available. The program is flexible allowing Interns to hold down other jobs and activities.
