About This Event

When Shark Tank and Open Mic Night had a baby, it was called Pitch Club. These one hour events occur every two weeks and are designed to showcase innovative startups while enabling them to get questions and feedback from Clinicians and Investors. The preparation is valuable and the exposure is priceless. Competition for the slots is high. Clinicians and Investors are able to network with the entrepreneurs after the events and this often leads to advisory and investment opportunities.

Charu is a Machine Learning Engineer and the CEO of Etta. She builds the product and works with clinicians to fit the product seamlessly into the workflows of clinicians and patients. She also sells the product to health systems, private clinics, and pharmaceutical companies.

Marie-Laure Yaspo, PhD

Co-Founder & CSO, Alacris Theranostics GmbH

Dr. Marie-Laure Yaspo did her postdoctoral research at the Imperial Cancer research Fund (London, UK). Since 1996 she has been a research group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics (MPIMG, Berlin). She is currently head of the Otto Warburg Laboratory “Gene Regulation and Systems Biology of Cancer’ at the MPIMG. M-L Yaspo coordinated the International Consortium for mapping and sequencing Human chromosome 21 within the Human Genome Project. She participates in the International Cancer Genome consortium (ICGC early-onset prostate cancer and IGCG pediatric brain tumors) and the European Blueprint project.
